“Take You to Rio”, featuring a Spix’s Macaw!
These Macaws are currently listed as ‘Extinct in the Wild’, and there are about 80 individuals involved in a breeding program to get their population back up. Ever since their discovery, they’ve been considered an enigma. Upon discovery, Spix originally mistook this macaw for a Hyacinth Macaw. 
This is the same parrot species seen in the movie ‘Rio’! 🦜💙 
10% of proceeds will be donated to Parrots International so they can continue saving this species, as well as many others from extinction.
